Mo was so accommodating and friendly, his recommendations and suggestions were on point, as well as his service. He was super friendly and super kind, and I was so blown over by his service. We also wanted dessert, which they had run out of, but he kindly made a special dessert for us! Super happy and moved! Definitely a must visit. ”

“ We went to Mayhek for my husband’s birthday, and the owner made efforts to make this extra special. We ordered the tandoori salmon, mince and cheese naan, garlic and chilli lamb, and lamb raezella. As we were not keen on poppadoms, the owner gave us complimentary onion bhajis whilst we waited for our food. When the food arrived, it was delicious and presented beautifully. The portion sizes were generous, there wasn’t excessive oil and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. I particularly enjoyed the freshness of the mince in my naan. Mince and cheese wasn’t on the menu - it was either or - but the owner kindly made the naan on my request. We had a lassi and filter coffee afterwards which were a nice way to end the meal. Throughout the meal, the owner regularly checked on us and was very friendly, which added a nice personal touch. Overall, I found the quality and service at Mayhek excellent in comparison to other Indian restaurants I’ve been to and will definitely be back! ”

We had a big variety (seafood, meat curries, naan, and vegetable dishes) and everything came out piping hot and beautifully spiced. The garlic naan was soft and fluffy, the curries were packed with depth, and the sizzling prawns were a highlight. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout the staff made sure we were looked after and topped things up quickly. The atmosphere is cosy with a nice cultural touch, making it a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a proper meal. For me, this was a very satisfying dining experience. The food really stands out as one of the best Indian spots I’ve tried, and I would happily come back again. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you want authentic, flavourful dishes with great service. ”
